If you are planning to send your fine wool or area (oriental) rugs out for cleaning, consider whether the cleaner is going to use fresh water and specialized cleaning procedures for your rugs or if the cleaning company uses a machine with a vat that they also use all day for everybody else’s rugs, rugs that may have a “history” that you don’t want mixing with your rugs.  If you don’t want your rugs dipped with urine and other organic contaminants in a vat on a “mass production” scale, using repetitive assembly line methods…use the FiberGuard “customized to your rug” program.
